LOVE in The Air

Dear Diary,

Yet again, I saw some nice post cards with meaning words on it. I thought I would share it with you peeps...

So sweet eh...Tell your loved one this... even if it's via email/msn or sms... he/she would definitely taste the sweetness in the heart...

This is even better eh...If you were to only live for another 100 days, I wld want to live only for 99 days ... I can't leave a day without you... OMG..I am almost melting...

Owww... So touching eh.. you don't need to use any vocabs to descibe how much you care. The 3 magical words "I LOVE YOU" is more than enough to describe all that you have in mind.

*Sob* don't you sense that tinge of sadness... it's just like the saying, Loving the person doesn't mean you have to own the person, be with the person; as long as your loved one is happy, you would be happy...

I recall saying this... or rather something similar to someone when we ended the relationship, 'Beng with you was the only right thing I have done so far!'

OK I like this... Like I always tell my frenz...(Katty, now you know, I am not being rude, I am jus paying attention to what you say with my heart and soul... Hehe)

I love to look into people's eyes when we communicate. That's when all other words that others can't hear are spoken to you. =p Moreover don't you think it's basic manners.. it's so rude to look elsewhere when people's talking to you...

Then again, I always look away when I am sad and especially when I didn't wanna reveal further for I the fear that my eyes would give them away..

How loving... It may sound dumb.. but I am going to do that the next time I receive a dozen of roses... haha..

*Melting*

The girl is so lovable eh... Well isn't the phrase through... somethings don't have to be said out... it's more valuable when the demand is high but supply is low.. =p Times like this, actions speaks louder than words...

How I love this phrase... I tell you boys... tell your gal this, look deeply into their eyes... sincerely... I tell you, you'll see that sparkle rolling down that rosy cheek.

Ok last one for today.. a Cheeky baby for you.. so adorable eh... This is what I call Kiss and make up.. it always works.. =p

Cassandra's Bake House

Dear Diary,

Today is my off-day so I thought I would use this opportunity to do a little advertisement for a close girlfriend of mine as promised sometime back. (Many apologizes for tasking to long)

My gf Cassandra, like myself wanted to start her own business and lately she just started an online cake-shop AKA cyber bakery. Currently she does not have any physical shop, but she is selling all her bakeries online. It very simple, all you have to do is to select the type of cakes you like and either email or call her on her mobile to make an order. As this is the initial stage and she is currently on a promotion, most of the delivery charges are waived.

Honesty, I did not help to advertise simply because she is my friend and I wanted to do her this favor, but honestly it is more to the fact that her bakeries skill is superb and creative. While she is constantly trying out new recipes and creation, her current skills is enough to make you reach out for the second, third piece.

Her bake house is not limited to only cakes but also, moon-cake but also other pastry like pizza, chicken pies, cookies etc.

I had personally tasted some of her bakeries and I tell you, I simply can't stop craving of them now that I am writing this post. The taste lingers in the taste bud and memory and makes it unforgettable. The walnut moon cake for instance which I bought previously from her was well received by my family and friends. In fact, my brother asked me to get more but unfortunately she was out-stationed and I could not make more orders. I ought to have ordered more.

Then there is also the mouth watering chocolate cake which melts in your mouth. That feeling is heavenly I tell you.

It is pointless that I tell you how good it is, how irresistible it is. You ought to try it yourself. I can only say, so far, my friends who have tasted had good remarks for it. It is product proven,Hawaiia. I would say her prices are not expensive, you do not have to wait till it is someone's birthday to buy a cake, and you don't need a special occasion for a well deserved tasty pastry. Why not pick up your call now and make an order.

Try it yourself and you would nod your head in unanimous with me.

Above all, I wish to comment that for a delicious pastry to ease that craving at a reasonable rate, the only price you have to pay is that she might be out-stationed occasionally so you ought to make orders in advance especially for special occasion.

So much on my comment, some photos from her site to prove my statement

This is a chocolate-banana mousse cake... Even for a none banana lover like myself, you would love this. The sweetness from the coco blends perfectly with the banana simply like that of Banana boat ice-cream...

This is how the side view.Look delicious right...All that slices of banana between the layers...Yum..

Alright, this is her new creation. Instead of the usual black forest chocolate cake, she come out with a snow forest ... and the snow is favoriteite white chocolate. You really got to try this out...

Well, this is raspberry cheesecake. favorite. Instead of blueberry substitude with raspberry. The sweet and tinch of sourness compliment perfectly. The thought make one drool.. like that of the thought of pineapple? sort of.. The cheesecake is soft and melts in the mouth...

Another shot... I agree maybe the deco needs to be touched up a little but if you have tried before, you have to agree it taste great.

O my.. this is another of favoriteite. Breezy sunrise mango. The name itself is good enough. Not to mention the cake. Yummy...

Long Lost Friend

Dear Diary,

I recovered slightly from the horrible virus in my tummy. Due to the last minute changes in my appointment, I dragged myself up and prepare to go for this imperative meeting with this special person. I am suppose to meet up with Marcus, my puppy love mate the next day but he had to arrange for some other important appointment hence we pushed it forward.

He is my very first important guy friend or maybe I should say a very first closest guy friend.. His family had since migrated to Canada for about 8 yrs which ended the relationship. That is practically how long we have not met. OMG, I did not realized it was this 'long', till we started counting. How time flies ..

I lost contact with him ever since he left... I changed my address and I do not have his address in Canada then. He told me he managed to locate me somehow through friendster after some tough search. You can imagine I was kinda shock when he IM me via my email. It is like searching needle from the sea. I felt so 'heartless', I mean I never thought of putting effort to search for him no matter how hard it is.. I keep saying I miss him and stuff yet no effort was put in. Shameless me. I guess I am just that type that didn't know how to take the first move.

Anyhow he still found me. You bet I almost could not believe what I see in my eyes when he says he is coming over to Singapore for 1 week for a business trip and he wanna meet me. Goodness, is this a prank or what, I thought. It is so amazing. I thought this is what I meant by fate. An incredible ‘force’ or should I saw power that bring 2 people long lost people together. The feeling of meeting long lost friend was great, not to mention a special one.

We met at Taka. I was almost mesmerized by him. Obviously he changed a lot. He is no longer the young ignorant boy, he is now at least a head taller than me and more enhanced in built, more mature and refine. Not that he was handsome or drop dead gorgeous super model, but at least he could bring out that x-factor in him, and that manhood.

We had a long chat in coffee club.. and recollected all those lovely memories. How sweet.. the pure and innocent love.. The feeling is simply miraculous! We laugh at all the silly stuff we have done together, gossips about the rest.. Catch up quite a bit on our current lives.

On our way to his hotel, there was much silence. Each step forward got slower. The atmosphere got kinda tense and heavy.. I wish the walk never end, I bet he felt the same too. Then it was time to part, he patted my on the head like I am a little girl as he used to do very often, gave me a tight hug and kissed me good night on the forehead. The long lost feelings just came back; The same pat, the same hug, the same kiss, the same scent. That kinda 'touched' that no one else can substitute.

Emotions got over me when he told me he would be leaving in a couple of days and he would miss me lots. My eyes virtually went red with tears whelming. Don't ask me why. I mean afterall, we have still been very close friend; after all we have been through many things.
After the many years, he still remembers me and made the effort to look for me. To think he still treasures that little friendship and say sweet things. I was touched honestly (ok fine I easily touched... Whatever but at least I am frank =p). I never thought I could even meet him again.

Tears rolled when I look at his back-view as he walked into the hotel lobby, exactly the same sentiment when I was him left for Canada then. I wonder when we would meet again, I mean now that technology is advance and we have exchanged contact, we can always catch up but somehow he is still that far away. It is never the same. I know I would miss that 'sayang' on the head which never fails to make me feel small yet much loved like a little girl; the kiss goodbye on the forehead that would melt me to the ground.

Then again, people come, people go, and life still goes on. It was already much blessings that we could even meet again hence I shall not ask for more. I only ask that even if we do not meet again, I hope he still remembers me as a good friend even many years down the road, think of this old friend once in awhile and that is more than enough for me. I also pray that he finds happiness and of course excel in his career. God bless him.

Friends forever & Miss ya

"Shitty" Day

Dear Diary,

"Shitty" Day indeed.

Not that everything went badly... but Since 3 am last night I have practically run in and out of the loo like for at least 20 times if not more.... More like, just when I thought I was done, ready to pound onto my bed, my stomach stirred badly...

This goes on till morning. I was almost too weak to drag myself to work but still manage to make my way there after some charcoal pills. However the diarrhea didn't really ease.

Mummy prepared "Zui Kway" for me but it was too much for that already protesting gastric. Think the diarrhea makes my gastric problem comes back... and I had hell...

Wanted very much to take MC, but on account of the training that I am supposed to have plus the $$ sake, I hang in there. Went out with CSO and all and they were really sweet, on account that I was not feeling well, they decided to have their lunch venue changed to somewhere nearer. Then my 3 babies came to join me. I sit with my babies as the table with the CSO aren't big enough to take in all of us. I gave my zui kway to the CSO while I ordered sth light instead. You bet they certainly enjoyed that zui kway... it's some famous store... my mummy went to Q for it early morning lo.. =p

I knew I am quite a fortunate little princess. Almost everyday, either my mum or bro would prepare breakfast for me and made me packed lunch. I knew how many people are envious of me.. ha.. In fact, I do feel the loved but only when I am reminded of. =p I guess it's because from young I had got gastric ulcer problem... pretty serious one... so my mum is always on her guard watching on my diet. Knowing I am the sort that is simply too lazy to even my food for myself being overly pampered I guess. Plus I would rather skip my meals if it means I have to go out alone for lunch, so the packed lunch is prepared as such that if ever I got to eat alone, I can have it in the pantry. I don't waste food, so mummy knows I would finish them as long as she prepares for me..

Anyhow, I survived through. Mummy prepared those can sort of pineapple and made me drink 100 -plus. Not sure where she learnt it from.. but surprisingly it work wonders. In fact better that all that medicine that I had taken earlier. Shortly after I stop running to the loo... and at least my appetite came back.. and most importantly I don't puke afterwhich... Maybe you guys can try. Quite a few people tried and it apparently did work. The last time when Darren has the same problem, He was puking I think and I got him to try but he refused to (thinking I would worsen his conditions).. Darn.. serve him right for not taking advise form the wise. =p

Btw, I just read in the article that how Isotonic drink is really a treatment with 'scientific' facts hehe..

Treatment Recommendations for Vomiting

Ok some tips on Diarrhea...

Diarrhea is uncomfortable and unpleasant, but generally no big deal in otherwise healthy adults. However, if diarrhea becomes a chronic condition, the situation changes. Or if it affects the very young, the elderly, or the chronically ill, it can be dangerous. And if you're not careful to drink enough fluids, you could find yourself complicating what should have been a simple enough situation.

What causes diarrhea? Because the condition generally lasts only a few days, doctors don't usually test the stool to diagnose what started it in the first place. It's most often due to a viral infection, which antibiotics can't fight, so you just have to tough it out for a couple of days. If a virus is the cause, you may also experience cramping, nausea and vomiting, headache, fever, malaise, and even upper-respiratory-tract symptoms, such as a runny nose. One clue: If members of your family all get sick, but at different times, a virus is likely the culprit. Bacteria, which often cause traveler's diarrhea in certain parts of the world, can also be responsible for diarrhea, usually as the result of food poisoning.

Much rarer are microbes like amoebae and giardia that try to set up house permanently in your bowel, causing diarrhea that lasts for weeks or months. You can get these from contaminated food or water, lakes and streams, public swimming pools, and communal hot tubs.Certain drugs, especially antibiotics, can cause diarrhea as a side effect. Magnesium-containing antacids and artificial sweeteners, such as sorbitol, are often overlooked culprits, as well.

Ride it out. If you're not very young or old or suffering from any chronic illness, it may be safe just to put up with it for a couple of days. After all, it's often your body's natural way of getting rid of something that shouldn't be there to begin with.

Dehydration is the most serious consequence of diarrhea.

Keep hydrated. You can lose a lot of liquid in diarrhea, but you also lose electrolytes, minerals such as sodium and potassium that are critical in the running of your body. Here's how to replace what you're losing:

Drink plenty of fluids. Consume two quarts (eight cups) of fluids a day, three quarts (12 cups) if you're running a fever. Plain water lacks electrolytes, but it's a good, gentle-on-the-tummy option that can help you replace some of the fluid that you've lost. Other choices include weak tea with a little sugar, sports drinks such as Gatorade, flat soda pop (decaffeinated flavors such as ginger ale are best), and fruit juices other than apple and prune, which have a laxative effect.

Buy an over-the-counter electrolyte replacement formula. Pedialyte, Rehydralyte, and Ricelyte are available without a prescription from your local drugstore. These formulas contain fluids and minerals in the proper proportion.

Keep your liquids cool but not ice-cold. Whatever you choose to drink, keep it cool; it will be less irritating that way.

Sip, don't guzzle; it will be easier on your insides if you take frequent sips of liquid instead of guzzling down a glass at a time.

Sip some chicken broth. Or any broth, but have it lukewarm instead of hot, and add a little salt to it if it's not already salty.

Rest in bed. Give your body a chance to fight the bug that's causing this.Put a heating pad on your belly. It may help relieve abdominal cramps.

Try yogurt. Choose a brand that contains live lactobacillus cultures, which are friendly bugs that normally live in the gut. (Even people with lactose intolerance can often handle this type of yogurt.)

Eat easy-to-digest foods. Good choices include soup, gelatin, rice, noodles, bananas, potatoes, toast, cooked carrots, soda crackers, and skinless white-meat chicken.Take the pink stuff.

Stopping the diarrhea with an over-the-counter (OTC) medication may not be the best thing for your body, since the diarrhea probably reflects your body's attempt to get rid of a troublesome bug.

If you do feel it's necessary, however, Pepto-Bismol is probably the safest OTC antidiarrheal medicine. It also appears to have a mild antibacterial effect, useful against traveler's diarrhea, which is usually bacteria-related.Take Kaopectate or Imodium A-D. Again, you're probably better off going without antidiarrheal medication.

If you absolutely need some relief, however, you can try one of these OTC medications. Imodium A-D slows down the motility, or movement, of the gut; Kaopectate absorbs fluid. Elderly patients should use these medications only with their doctor's approval, because decreased motility can be dangerous in an infection and can lead to bigger problems.

Don't do dairy. Avoid milk, cheese, and other dairy products (except yogurt, unless you don't usually tolerate it well) while you have diarrhea as well as for one to three weeks after it stops. The small intestine, where milk is digested, is affected by diarrhea and simply won't work as well for a while.

Cut out caffeine. Just as it stimulates your nervous system, caffeine jump-starts your intestines. And that's the last thing you need when you have diarrhea.

Say no to sweet treats. High concentrations of sugar can increase diarrhea. The sugar in fruit can do the same.

Steer clear of greasy or high-fiber foods. These are harder for your gut to handle right now. It needs foods that are kinder and gentler.

Ok so much on diarreah, I am going to have good rest. Till I post again please do take care as stomach flu virus is spreading in the air and it can be contagious.
Cheers.

Shaun and Pat's Bday

Dear Diary,

As usual, this is a super back dated post... think it was a month ago... Sometime in mid september... It was Shaun and Patrick's Birthday.

Rather Xinyu planned a birthday celebration for the 2 birthday boys.. A belated one for the 'Gen tang' boy Shaun and a post one for the cool 'officer' Patrick.
Ya... This is patrick, the one that I always got Richard's name mixed up with. Ya I know, they don't look the leas bit similar neither do their name rymes.. haha..

It's just that kind of state where you dunno what's wrong with yourself, I wish I know. Hahaha... Maybe it's some spooky stuff possessing onto me.. Hehe..

Anyhow, It was a Sunday. After working in Island, I left to meet them at Settlers at Holland V. It was a long day and I was pretty exhausted. When I reach, Pat, Ben and XY reached at the same time too.

A while later, KW came followed by Shaun and finally Shuwen who rushed over after her dinner with her family. So sweet eh.. So sweet to come over and spending less time with the family, and so sweet to enjoy the family warmth dinner... Ha... I haven't really sit down together with my family to eat.. they are usually out partying haha... and bro don't eat at regular hours too...
ANyhow we had lots of fun with the games and food.. with Ben spilling drinks on the floor and our hero patrick showing off his leadership and pro-activness finding a mop to clear the mess..
We also encountered a very funny waiter that Ben simply can't stand.. Ha.. But al was pretty fun.. I enjoyed myself but unfortunately we miss Nikk who promised to come yet didn't appear.. and the 2 other babies didn't come to meet the numbers too.. but I bet Pat and Shaun are happy enough. I didn't get them much of a present but went to get a key chain with motivating words on it. It wasn't expensive, but I thought it's meaningful...

Bet Patrick was the happiest of all, cuz his crushed XXX (I cn't remember her name) anyway she came to give him a durpirse celebration. He must had been overjoyed. Though I last heard that they can't get together but I though the split moment of happiness is enough...At least I would thought so..

ooo think I almost forgot there's this other intern think he's called Howard. Nice name eh.. So we laughed played rocked the entire placed. We left after we end the day writing a get well soon card for Albert and my mission was to print out a picture we have taken of ourselves and together with the card give it to him... Hope he really get well soon...=)

Here comes the long awaited photos:

I was thinking of what to write on the card...

Darn.. Not fair I am not ready.. now I look so awful..

The 2 birthday boys...

WIth the cake now.. But Duhz.. what is Ben trying to do... "Qiang jin tou" Blah...

Shaun didn't wanna cut the cake claiming that he had cut ones.. so Pat got to do it alone.. ha.. But then again.. is there anything wrong cutting the cake more than once.. I do that everytime... hahaha

The boys...Wah.. Ben eat Howard and pat's "tou fu" hahaha...

Ok a closer shot.. Cheers for BROTHERHOOD!

Haha.. Patrick sitting there waiting for the gals to take a shot with him...Look how impatient he's getting

Here comes the gals.. Hhaha.. Pat is getting so shy.. by the way the gal beside Pat in Blue is his crash.. You bet everyone's teasing him.. But I tink XY (the one in pink next to him) is more suitable.. or rathermore compatible..what do you say?

Say cheese... Goodness I look so tired...

Good.. this is certainely alot better

The big boys...

The gals with the other birthday boy our super-star...

WIth Ben this time...

Then Howard...

Finally with Patrick...

Alright, now squeese.. something different.. You bet this is the shot we printed for Albert. Don't tou think it's like a happy family photo.. or rather like a group of happy siblings all hugging together... ha..

Ok, that's all for today...Cheers...Happy Birthday to Pat & Shuan... the 2 ermh.. Handsome guys.. haha.. =p

Boring

Dear Diary,

It's the third day since I last get my new appointment.

Nothing special occurs... It has been half day training daily... and half day lo-boing...

It was boring I must say... Maybe some people like this kinda 'freedom' but I hate it... time never seem to past... I rather had a busy day and work like a bull, at least time past. The second hand seem to take forever to take a step forward...

I asked Shirley (my new superior) is there's anything I can do or help her do, but apparently there are none... She asked me to do what I wanna do... I was like.. err ok... but wat can I do in office? I cant read openly, I cant sleep... Gosh... Someone help me...

I am bored to death... I am just that hyper-active kid that can't stop moving and this is simply killing me softly.. I hate to act busy... I am just not that sort...

If you wanna pay me 10k jus to sit and stare at the blank air, I rather take half of it and work hard, at least time past faster, I am happier and there's sense of satisfaction.

So I stated surfing the web for more work related technical information and hopefully this would help me when the time comes.

Gosh... I hope I can get started real soon...

Argh... God pls, let may my prayers be heard...

Thought I wanna share it with you... I find it so god damn 'interesting'...

There are some batches... with interesting words.. and Interesting I mean, words that appear mean and crude but come to think of it again, they could be things that you wanna blast out and cursed somebody but find the 'graceful' environment unsuitable for such un-glam words... maybe it doesn't fit the educated you... but I didn't give a damn...

I love beautiful things and ones impression matters to me so I rate my frenz based on the 2 criteria. It sounds shallow but it's important my frenz know how to make themselves presentable cuz impression counts. I'm not pretty yet I feel it's important to leave a good impression with great attitude.

I chose my frenz. chose who i go out with and I'm particular. I guess I'm not lack of frenz but i draw clear line the "category" of fren they are in. Nonetheless, I'm lucky to have many truthful ones...
