I just cut my hair for CNY... short fringe... =p
Hmm... Not too bad.. at least I look younger...

Dear Diary,

This is a very back dated post...

Anyway.. I was invited to be 'Jie Mei' for Wendy, one of my close colleagues.

I was excited... cuz its in Malaysia and I would be staying at her Kampong house over night...

Nikk travelled in with me to Johor via the bus. Geez it my first time after all that 20 ++ yrs... hehe.. though I am a malaysian, I had never travelled by bus before... the feeling is pretty fresh and new... (Sua Gu, u might say I am but I am a SBM, Singapore Born Malaysian... hahaha... I alway travel by car can... =p)

So we spent quote a bit of time with all that walking etc... finally reach in the evening. Wendy's house is by the road side, pretty big house right smack in the mids of a jungle sort... where thick bushes of tress are beside the house. (Very different from my house in Malaysia...)

She had some buffets for us.. her mums fren came and sort... then we talked, prepare the ribbons for the nx day...

We turn in at around mid-night.. preparing to wake up at 4am cuz the bridegroom would be around to pick up the bride at around 6am... the earliest pick up time I have encountered so far..

It was an exciting day, we woke up, dressed ourselves in white for the sisters... me, elyn and wendy's 2 sister. I tink we all look very pretty... hahaha..of course we won't forget to prepare the 'barriers' for the brothers... (Evil grin)

The brothers together with the groom came on time... we 'played' for a little while but wendy's dad being the traditional time was not too pleased with our 'little barriers' so we stopped. (what a waste... wish there were more fun)

Nevertheless, things got pretty smooth..till we were talking about the march in during the dinner time. The initial plan is that there would be 4 pairs of brothers & sisters to march in first then line in a row and scatter flowers at the newly wed when they march in ... but Wendy's 2 sisters refused to 'match' with the bridegroom's brothers... (Reason: They are very 'uncle' looking). Honestly, I am not trying to be mean but... they really CMI. Either very fat, look very old or balding...Fine not that I am a babe or sth but... anyway, I was not the one that protest, I just pray hard in silence... hehe...

After much embarrassment trying to rearrange the couple, the 2 sisters partner with their boyfriends, Elyn with one of the brothers (who happen to be her primary school classmate, not very good looking also actually) and Me with Nikk. Thank goodness.. I got no boy friends or primary school fren, lucky got Brother Nikk, if not I would have to LL partner the 'uncles'...

Afterwhich everything goes as plan... we had dinner.. I sat with the bossard people...
