My 24th Birthday (06)

Dear Diary,

Hello... It's been like Aaages since I blogged... so tight up with work... Anyway, there's just zillion of things that I wanna update, but didn't know where to begin with.. Geez..

Before I get my thoughts straighten out, here's some photos of my 24th Birthday which I promise.. ya ya.. i know since last year.. but better late than never right...

It was a joyous week for me last year... I had a 1 week celebration like my 23rd Birthday...

I vividly recall that Zoe & Alan were the first to book me... I was kind surprise that they still remember my birthday since we are out of school now and everyone is busy with work and stuff..
So touched... Zoe even got me my favourite Royce Chocolate.. I had done a 'free' advert for Royce before so I shan't say it again...

Following which was a birthday celebration throw by the E family. Guess what, we has steam buffet at Zhen Fa at Marina... I swear never to go again after that worm in the crab incident, but well since they are still students and it' probably one of the more affordable area which can accommodate so many of us... I was kana terkan obviously. Was forced to blow out my birthday candles like from 2 tables away... You bet, it's tough, the flame hardly flickered. Thank god for the gust of wind that came in time to save me from the ordeal. Nevertheless, I had fun and was certainly very touched with the juniors chipping in money to celebrate with me, they even got me a very pretty necklace which I was told cost them quite a bit. Kinda make me feel guilty for being a lousy senior... lol..

Then while I was in office, I had a surprise celebrating over lunch from some co-workers. It's was simple but enough to make me smile from ear to ear... further more, the babies got me my favourite lilies as birthday present. I was kinda touched. It was beautiful and the fragrance is chanting...

In the night, the babies as well as some ex-interns, and my friends had another celebration with me... we went to long bar and I was called on to the stage to dance... OMG.. i was totally embarrass. I wanted to retreat but this nice 'ang mo' was gentlemen enough to offer his hand to dance with me. Needless to say all this 'credit' goes to baby Darren who left early. I was a little disappointed at fist only to realised that he celebrated with me despite feeling unwell (he was diagnosed with food poisoning). All the fun, laughter and embarrassment no doubt made my 24th birthday a memorable one.

Following day, I met up with my sec school buddies whom gave me and evelyn a surprise celebration. We had dinner at giraffe and end of with KTV. It was a crazy night and I was more than happy to be able to catch u with these 'old' gang.

The last celebration I had was not within the week but months later... lol.. it was from my 2 buddies, bestest friend. They really caught me off- guard. I mean it was so so long after my birthday and they brought me to mount faber and gave me a huge surprise. A simple celebration I would call it, but one that carves deep in the heart. Really appreciate their effort...
