Company Xmas party

Dear Diary,

Trying to recall this experience months back....

Being part of the Employee Care Team , I am tasked to be in charged of the Christmas Party. Don't ask why I am chosen again after the 175 anniversary... Maybe the previous event was a success... or maybe I am the youngest thus assumed to have most creativity. Ha.. Beats me...

Anyhow, it took me some time to plan this event with a tight budget as compared to the anniversary.. I bump around a little and finally decided to use settler's cafe. They are a wonderful much. Mabel was so patients and considerate. She tried to pleased every demand that CW wanted, some to me can be pretty unreasonable at times... but they did perfect to entertain.

Finally the day came, I was a little disappointed at first with the poor attendance, with the decos from settlers and not being ready when i arrive at the ball room, but thank goodness the guest were late and the warm service later from the settlers team did make everyone feel at home.

They played games with the guest and made everyone laugh. I guess everyone enjoyed. Plus all the lucky draws, dance... gift exchange. Everyone was pretty high too with that tip of alcohol.

It pleased me to see everyone enjoying themselves, I guess that's what an organiser would ask for. Guest pleased with the event having praises for the food, activity etc... This sense of satisfaction is an amazingly feeling.. beyond words for description.

Anyhow, after the event mysel, KW and Katty went to meet Cass at St James and had a great time partying.. other than the fact that I find myself quite out in that 'formal' outfit... So hard to dance in that... Geez...
